Here our nonlinearity f may be singular at u = 0. As an application of Green’s function, we give some multiple positive solutions for singular positone and semipositone boundary value problems by means of the Leray–Schauder nonlinear a...
متن کاملExplicit multiple singular periodic solutions and singular soliton solutions to KdV equation
Based on some stationary periodic solutions and stationary soliton solutions, one studies the general solution for the relative lax system, and a number of exact solutions to the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation are first constructed by the known Darboux transformation, these solutions include double and triple singular periodic solutions as well as singular soliton solutions whose amplitude d...
متن کاملPeriodic solutions of fourth-order delay differential equation
In this paper the periodic solutions of fourth order delay differential equation of the form $ddddot{x}(t)+adddot{x}(t)+f(ddot{x}(t-tau(t)))+g(dot{x}(t-tau(t)))+h({x}(t-tau(t)))=p(t)$ is investigated. Some new positive periodic criteria are given.

متن کاملSingular Differential, Integral and Discrete Equations: the Semipositone Case
Fixed point methods play a major role in the paper. In particular, we use lower type inequalities together with Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem in a cone to deduce the existence of positive solutions for a general class of problems. Moreover, the results and technique are applicable also to positone problems. 2000 Math. Subj. Class. 34B15, 47H30, 39A10.
